Shrouded in Mystery the Lost City of Petra is a must see when going to Jordan. Petra once upon a time was a key trading hub for Nabataeans. This city is literally carved into cliffs and is cool on the warmest of days.

The Nabataeans, were a thriving empire during 400 B.C. 106 A.D. Before ultimately being conquered by the Roman Empire, their control did not only lay in Jordan but stretched to the Arabian Peninsula.DSC00176
