Wanderers Guide To Jordan

Aqaba

From scuba diving in exotic waters, Jet skiing on the Red Sea, or visiting the local pubs and eateries Aqaba, has it all. Our home for the weekend was Al Qidra Hotel Aqaba. It ran us only 35JD. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke English which helps because My Arabic is limited to asking for food and water.IMG_2525
We decided to get a day pass to one of the resorts on the Red Sea, and this was a great idea! For only 15JD we had full access to the resort and its amenities. Jet skis had a long waiting list however when it was our turn we had 1hr of uninterrupted fun for 50JD. For the most part it was uninterrupted until I tried to Jetski to Egypt and the GPS killed our skis. Lesson learned (Thought I could get to countries in that day)

The day turned into night and I was personalty surprised how Aqaba came to life. Now the scene is by no stretch Thailand but it was still well received.

Oasis Lounge, Rover, Friends, and Paddy’s Irish pub & Restaurant are all great places to visit.

My trip to Jordan stretched for 8 months mostly business however we always found time for down time. This Article wouldn’t be enough to cover all our adventures. Check out our Destination Must, to see some of the best spot in Jordan to be.red_sea_water
